Gal Gadot had a special message to all 2020 graduates during a CNN special called “Class of 2020: In This Together.”
She started the message by explaining that she is a child of a teacher and an engineer, therefore, she grew up understanding the importance and value of education. She added that 2020 grads might feel powerless because of the uncertain world we all live in and she understands that they might be unclear with the next step they want to take in life but she urges everyone to trust themselves.
She explained that everyone needs to create the kind of self that they would be happy living. “Fan the tiny inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement” – she quoted the Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir who was the first female prime minister for Israel.
Gal Gadot added that even though this idea might seem so simple it is quite hard to put it into action because of the hard choice between deciding whether to be happy or to do what is right. It would take hard work and confidence to achieve whatever they desire but “it is not impossible”.
She encourages everyone that “anything is possible when you put your heart and mind into it” and everyone that is graduating this year should start creating their special story. She ended the message by congratulating the 2020 graduates.
